ROTARY ENGINES

  1. Warm the engine to normal operating temperature.
  2. Be sure that the secondary throttle valve is fully returned.
  3. Set the parking brake and block the front wheel.
  4. Connect a tachometer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Adjust the idle speed to specifications. The idle speed should ONLY be adjusted with the idle air screw. Never use the idle fuel jet screw to adjust the idle. This screw is preset at the factory and should not be moved.
  6. After idle speed adjustment, you should also have the mixture checked with a CO analyzer.
