- Remove the cylinder head from the engine.
- Remove the rocker arm assembly.
- Remove the glow plugs.
- From the top of the head, insert a driver through the glow plug hole and
drive out the insert. Discard the welch washer.
- Position a new insert, aligning it with the welch washer hole. Drive the
new welch washer into position, with the projected side out. Mark the washer
by lightly striking its center with a punch.
