TESTING

1. Disconnect the oil lines which run from the metering oil pump to the carburetor, at the carburetor end.
2. Use a container which has a scale calibrated in cubic centimeters (cc) to catch the pump discharge from the oil lines.

   NOTE: Such a container is available from a scientific equipment supply house.

3. Run the engine at 2,000 rpm for six minutes.
4. At the end of this time, 2.2cc of oil should be collected in the container. If not, adjust the pump as explained below.
