- Raise and support the truck on jackstands.
- Place a drain pan under the transmission.
- Remove all the pan bolts except the two at the front. Loosen these slightly
and allow the fluid to drain. The pan may have to be carefully pried loose.
- Remove the pan. Discard the gasket.
- Clean the pan thoroughly in a safe solvent.
- Installation is the reverse of removal. Torque the bolts to 5 ft. lbs.
