- Apply the parking brake to provide clearance between the switch assembly
and the switch stop tab on the parking brake lever shaft.
- Disconnect the switch wiring connector.
- Remove the switch from its mounting bracket.
- Install the attaching screws.
- Connect the switch wire connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and check the operation of
the switch. No adjustment to the switch is possible. If it is defective, replace
the switch.
