DRAIN & REFILL

1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
2. Place a drain pan below the differential.
3. Remove the drain plug from the differential unit and drain the oil.
4. When the fluid is completely drained, replace the drain plug complete with a new washer and tighten to 29–40 ft. lbs. (39–54 Nm).
5. Remove the check plug from the differential.
6. Refill the differential unit with the specified oil.
7. Install the check plug and tighten the plug to 29–40 ft. lbs. (39–54 Nm).
