REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Drain and recycle the engine coolant.
  2. Detach the single wire harness connector from the temperature sender.

  3. Remove the sender from the engine by turning it counterclockwise.
  4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. When installing the sender, count three threads up the sender then apply sealant from the third thread to the head of the sender. Tighten the sender to 57–82 inch lbs. (6.4–9.3 Nm).
