REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Charcoal Canister
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Tag and disconnect the vapor hoses from the canister.
Remove the canister fasteners and remove the canister.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Fuel Vapor Valve
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Relieve the fuel system pressure and drain the fuel tank.
Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
Remove the fuel vapor valve from the top of the fuel tank.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Purge Control Solenoid Valve
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Tag and disconnect the hoses from the valve.
If equipped, detach the electrical connector from the valve.
Remove the valve from its mounting and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Check Valve
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and safely support the vehicle.
Tag and disconnect the vapor hoses from the check valve.
Remove the check valve mounting screw and the check valve from the underside of the vehicle.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
