Back-up Light Switch

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The back-up light switch is threaded into the transaxle case.

1. Remove the wire clamp from the transaxle case that secures the switch wire.
2. Detach the electrical wiring multi-connector.

3. Loosen and remove the switch from the transaxle case.
4. Remove the metal gasket from the switch and discard.

   To install:

5. Install a new metal gasket sealing washer to the switch.
6. Thread the back-up light switch into the transaxle case and tighten just enough to crush the gasket.
7. Connect the wiring, install the wire clamp and check that the switch operates properly.
