Seats

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Front
  1. If the vehicle is equipped with passive shoulder belt type seat belts, disconnect the buckle switch electrical connector from under the seat.
  2. Remove the seat slide rear covers.
  3. Slide the seat forward and remove the rear mounting bolts.
  4. Slide the seat to the rear and remove the front mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the seat(s) from the vehicle.
  6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Tighten the mounting bolts to 28–38 ft. lbs. (38–51 Nm).

Rear
  1. From under the front of the rear seat bottom cushion, release the seat cushion locks.
  2. If the vehicle has the folding rear seat, remove the side cushion pieces first by removing the bolts and lifting up.
  3. Remove the bolts and/or nuts from the base of the back cushion(s) and lift the back cushion up and off of the fastening hooks.
  4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Tighten the seat back bolts to 12–17 ft. lbs. (16–23 Nm).
