Lower Control Arm

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
Remove or disconnect the following:
- Front wheel
- Stabilizer bar link
- Radius arm
- Lower ball joint
- Lower control arm
To install:
Install or connect the following:
- Lower control arm. Tighten the inner bolt to 108–126 ft. lbs. (147–171 Nm).
- Lower ball joint. Tighten the nut to 87–115 ft. lbs. (118–156 Nm).
- Radius arm. Tighten the bolts to 76–92 ft. lbs. (103–125 Nm).
- Stabilizer bar link. Tighten the link nut until the link bolt extends 0.35–0.43 inches (9–11mm) above the nut.
- Front wheel
Check the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
Remove or disconnect the following:
- Front wheel
- Stabilizer bar link
- Lower ball joint
- Inner control arm fasteners
- Lower control arm
To install:
Install or connect the following:
- Lower control arm. Tighten the inner bolts to 102–126 ft. lbs. (138–171 Nm).
- Lower ball joint. Tighten the nut to 97–119 ft. lbs. (133–161 Nm).
- Stabilizer bar link. Tighten the link nut until the link bolt extends 0.20–0.28 inches (5–7mm) above the nut.
- Front wheel
Check the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
Remove or disconnect the following:
- Front wheel
- Lower ball joint
- Front inner control arm bolt
- Rear inner control arm bracket
- Lower control arm
To install:
Install or connect the following:
- Lower control arm. Tighten the front inner bolt to 69–93 ft. lbs. (94–126 Nm).
- Rear inner control arm bracket. Tighten the nut to 69–97 ft. lbs. (94–131 Nm).
- Lower ball joint. Tighten the pinch bolt to 32–43 ft. lbs. (44–58 Nm).
- Front wheel
Check the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.
