- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning
of this section.
- If equipped, deactivate the audio anti-theft system.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable and wait for more than
1 minute to allow the backup power supply to deplete its stored power.
