Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the clutch.
2. Remove the bolts, flywheel, and flywheel reinforcing plate.

To Install:

NOTE: Engine balancing is not necessary. Balance weights should not be installed on the new flywheel.

NOTE: Do not use standard bolts. Special bolts are required for installation.

1. Examine the pilot bearing. Install a new pilot bearing if necessary.
2. Install the flywheel, flywheel reinforcing plate, and bolts. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Torque to 54-64 ft-lb (73-87 Nm).
3. Install the clutch.
