Transmission Fluid

Fluid Level Checking

While the engine is running and the transmission is at a normal operating temperature of 150-170 °F (66-77 °C), check and adjust the transmission fluid level. If any fluid is required, add it in small amounts until the correct level is reached. The fluid should be in the cross-hatched area of the fluid level indicator. It is important to not overfill the transmission fluid.
