Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the power steering hose.
2. Discard the Teflon® seal.

To Install:

CAUTION
Be careful to prevent contaminants from entering the power steering system during the repair procedure or the result could be premature failure of the power steering components.

NOTE: When you connect a fitting to a Teflon® seal, you must use a new seal.

1. Use the Teflon® seal installer set (211-D027) to install a Teflon® seal over a fitting.
2. Fill and check the system for leaks.
