Stabilizer Bar

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the front stabilizer bar link nuts from the front suspension lower arms.
  3. Remove the front stabilizer bar link bolts and the front stabilizer bar links.
  4. To remove the front stabilizer bar, remove the 4 bolts, 2 brackets, front stabilizer bar, and stabilizer bar insulator.

To Install:

NOTE: If you cannot install the self-tapping bolts into the frame, you can get a kit with flag nuts.

  1. Install the stabilizer bar insulator, the front stabilizer bar, the 4 bolts, and the 2 brackets. Tighten to 25-34 ft-lb (34-46 Nm).
  2. Install the front stabilizer bar links and the front stabilizer bar link bolts.
  3. Install the front stabilizer bar link nuts onto the front suspension lower arms. Tighten to 15-21 ft-lb (21-29 Nm).
  4. Safely lower the vehicle.
