To Remove:
CAUTION
Do not pull on the spark plug wire because it can separate from the connector inside the spark plug boot.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors for the fuel charging wiring from the ignition coil.
- Squeeze the locking tabs and twist while pulling up to disconnect the spark plug wires.
- Remove the bolts and ignition coil.
To Install:
NOTE: Wipe the coil towers with a clean cloth dampened with soap and water. Remove any soap film and dry with compressed air. Examine for cracks, carbon tracking and dirt.
- Install the ignition coil and bolts. Torque to 44-62 in-lb (5-7 Nm).
- Connect the spark plug wires.
- Connect the electrical connectors for the fuel charging wiring to the ignition coil.
