Coolant Reservoir (Expansion Tank)

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the air cleaner box.
2. If equipped, remove the bolt and position the speed control actuator aside.
3. Disconnect the washer motor electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the overflow hose at the expansion tank and drain the coolant from the expansion tank.
5. Disconnect the washer motor hose.
6. Remove the two nuts and two bolts and remove bottle.

To Install:

1. Install the bottle, bolts, and nuts. Torque to 5 ft-lb (7 Nm).
2. Connect the washer motor hose.
3. Connect the overflow hose to the expansion tank.
4. Connect the washer motor electrical connector.
5. Install the bolt for the speed control actuator, if equipped. Torque to 8 ft-lb (11 Nm).
6. Install the air cleaner box.
