Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Partially drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.
4. Remove the bolts, the thermostat outlet housing and the thermostat.
5. Examine the O-ring seal and install a new one if necessary.

To Install:

1. Examine the O-ring seal and install a new one if necessary.
2. Install the thermostat, the thermostat outlet housing, and bolts. Torque to 89 in-lb (10 Nm).
3. Connect the upper radiator hose.
4. Install the air cleaner outlet tube.
5. Refill the cooling system.
