Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolts and the CKP sensor.
4. Push sensor against pulley wheel to make sure both wear pads are in contact with pulley wheel.

To Install:

1. Install the CKP sensor and bolts. Torque to 89 in-lb (10 Nm).
2. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
