ABS Control Module

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU).
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove the ABS module from the HCU.

To Install:

CAUTION
Make sure all of the components are clean and free of foreign material, oil, fluid, and dust.

1. Install the ABS module onto the HCU. Tighten to 9-17 in-lb (1-2 Nm).
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the HCU. Tighten to 63-79 in-lb (7-9 Nm).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
