Power Brake Booster

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the brake master cylinder.
2. Disconnect the power brake booster hose.
3. Disconnect the brake-pedal-to-power-brake-booster push rod.
4. Remove the bulkhead sound insulator.

   NOTE: Make sure to support the power brake booster.

5. Remove the power brake booster.

To Install:

1. Install the power brake booster. Torque nuts to 15-20 ft-lb (21-29 Nm).
2. Install the bulkhead sound insulator.
3. Connect the brake-pedal-to-power-brake-booster push rod.
4. Connect the power brake booster hose.
5. Install the brake master cylinder.
