Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
4. Remove the accessory drive belt.
5. Remove the bolts.
6. Remove the generator (remove nut and disconnect electrical connectors).

To Install:

1. Install the generator and mounting bolts.
   • Torque to 18 ft-lb (25 Nm).
2. Install nut and electrical connectors.
3. Install accessory drive belt.
4. Install air cleaner outlet tube.
5. Reconnect battery ground cable.
