To Remove:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
- Remove the bolts and the IAC valve and the gasket. Throw away the gasket.
To Install:
NOTE: Be sure to install a new IAC gasket.
- Install a new IAC gasket along with the IAC valve and bolts.
- Torque to 89 in. lbs. (10 Nm).
- Connect the IAC valve electrical connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
