Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve (2.3L Engine)

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the left, front inner fender well splash shield.
2. Disconnect the coolant bypass hose from the routing clip.
3. Use care to pry the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve cap off of the 2 tabs.
4. Remove the PCV valve from the crankcase vent oil separator and disconnect the vacuum hose.

To Install:

1. Connect the vacuum hose and install the PCV valve into the crankcase oil separator.
2. Carefully put the PCV valve cap back being gentle with the 2 tabs.
3. Connect the coolant bypass hose.
4. Install the left, front inner fender well splash shield.
