Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the bolts and the flexplate. Inspect for cracks and other damage. If necessary, install a new flexplate.

To Install:

NOTE: Special bolts are required for installation. Do not use standard bolts.

1. Position the flexplate on the crankshaft and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern.
   • Torque to 54-64 ft-lb (73-87 Nm).
2. Install the transmission.
