Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the TP sensor.

To Install:

NOTE: Be sure to install the throttle position sensor as instructed below. Failure to do so can cause excessive idle speeds. Slide the rotary tangs into position over the throttle shaft blade, then rotate the throttle position sensor.

1. Install the TP sensor and screws.
2. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
