To Remove:
- Disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube from the throttle body then remove the bolt and the accelerator control splash shield. Next, disconnect the speed control cable and remove the cable from the bracket.
- Remove the speed control cable cap from the speed control actuator by pushing in the locking arm on the cap and turning the cap counterclockwise.
- Remove the speed control cable by pressing the spring retainer then sliding the core wire end out of the speed control actuator pulley and removing the speed control cable.
To Install:
NOTE: The rubber seal must be completely seated onto the speed control cap.
- Install the speed control cable.
- Install the speed control cable cap.
- Connect the speed control cable then install the accelerator control splash shield and bolt and the air cleaner outlet tube.
