Sway Bar (Stabilizer Bar)

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the rear stabilizer bar.

To Install:

1. Install the rear stabilizer bar.
   • Torque the rear stabilizer bar link nuts and bolt to 44-59 ft-lb (60-80 Nm).
   • Torque the rear stabilizer bar mounting bracket bolts to 25-34 ft-lb (34-46 Nm).
2. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Safely lower the vehicle.
