Sway Bar (Stabilizer Bar)

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the front stabilizer bar link nuts from the front suspension lower arms.
3. Remove the front stabilizer bar link bolts and the front stabilizer bar links.
4. Remove the front stabilizer bar.

To Install:

NOTE: If self-tapping bolts cannot be installed in the frame, a kit with flag nuts is available.

1. Install the front stabilizer bar.
   • Torque to 25-34 ft-lb (34-46 Nm).
2. Install the front stabilizer bar link bolts and the front stabilizer bar links.
3. Install the front stabilizer bar link nuts to the front suspension lower arms.
   • Torque to 15-21 ft-lb (21-29 Nm).
4. Safely lower the vehicle.
