Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the clutch.
2. Remove the bolts and flywheel.

To Install:

NOTE: Special bolts are required for installation. Do not use standard bolts.

1. Position the flywheel and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown according to these steps:
   • Step 1: Torque to 10 ft-lb (13 Nm).
   • Step 2: Torque to 52 ft-lb (71 Nm).

   Flywheel tightening sequence (4.0L)

2. Install the clutch.
