Idler Pulley

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Remove the bolt and the belt idler pulley.

To Install:

1. Install the belt idler pulley and bolt.
   • On a 2.3L belt idler pulley assembly, torque to 18 ft-lb (25 Nm).
   • On a 3.0L or 4.0L belt idler pulley assembly, torque to 35 ft-lb (47 Nm).
2. Install the drive belt.
