Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Disconnect the radiator overflow hose or radiator vent hose.
3. Remove the cooling fan and shroud.
4. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.

   NOTE: To avoid disturbing the transmission or cooler fittings, use a back-up wrench.

6. If equipped, disconnect the two transmission cooler lines.
7. If equipped, disconnect the transmission cooler tubes at the bottom of the radiator.
8. Remove the bolts and tilt the radiator back and lift directly upward.

To Install:

1. Install the radiator and bolts.
   • Torque to 62 in-lb (7 Nm).
2. If equipped, connect the transmission cooler tubes at the bottom of the radiator.
3. If equipped, connect the two transmission cooler lines.
   • Torque to 18 ft-lb (25 Nm). Use a back-up wrench to avoid disturbing the transmission or cooler fittings.
4. Connect the lower radiator hose.
5. Connect the upper radiator hose.
6. Install the cooling fan and shroud.
7. Connect the radiator overflow hose or radiator vent hose.
8. Fill the cooling system.
