Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the accelerator control snow shield.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the bolts and the idle air control (IAC) valve. Throw away the gasket.

To Install:

NOTE: Be sure to install a new IAC gasket.

1. Install a new IAC gasket along with the IAC valve and bolts.
   • Torque to 89 in. lbs. (10 Nm).
2. Install the accelerator control snow shield.
