On the GLC and 1979–87 626, the fuse box (or joint box) is located underneath the left side of the dash panel or on the left-side kick panel. Box covers list the location, amperage, and circuit protected by each individual fuse. On the 1986–89 626 and MX-6, the main fuse block is between the battery and the distributor cap on the driver's side of the engine compartment.

On the 323, the joint box (which contains fuses, one or more circuit breakers, harnesses and harness connectors) is located under the dash, in front of the driver. The main fuse block is located in the engine compartment in front of the driver's side strut, next to the battery. On 1986 models, use the special fuse puller provided in the fuse box cover to pull a fuse.
On the 929, the main fuse block is located on the right side of the engine compartment between the battery and the window washer reservoir. The fuse panel is located on the driver's side of the passenger compartment, just above the brake pedal.
On the RX-7, the fuse block is located under the dash on the driver's side. Remove the plastic cover to gain access to the fuses. On 1986–89 models only, there is also a main fuse box located in the engine compartment on the driver's side.
