Back-Up Light Switch

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The back-up light switch is threaded into the transaxle case.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the wire clamp from the transaxle case that secures the switch wire.
3. Disengage the electrical wiring multi-connector.
4. Loosen and remove the switch from the transaxle case.

   To install:

5. Remove the metal gasket from the switch and install a new one.
6. Thread the switch into the transaxle case and tighten just enough to crush the gasket.
7. Connect the wiring and install the wire clamp.
8. Connect the negative battery cable and check for proper switch operation.
