The back-up light switch is threaded into the extension housing near the speedometer
cable. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Label, then unfasten the
electrical wiring connectors. Loosen and remove the switch from the extension
housing. Remove the metal gasket from the switch.
To install: Position a new metal gasket on the switch. Thread
the switch into the extension housing and tighten it just enough to crush the
gasket. Engage the switch wiring, then connect the negative battery cable
and check that the switch operates properly.
