Disc Brake Calipers

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Unfasten the bolts and/or pins which secure the caliper to the support, then remove the caliper.
  2. Remove the disc brake pads, as detailed earlier in this section.
  3. Clean the area around the brake hose fitting, then detach the hydraulic line from the caliper. Plug the end of the line to prevent the entrance of dirt or the loss of fluid.

    To install:

  4. Installation is the reverse of removal. Bleed the hydraulic system after completing installation.
