Examine the drum for cracks or overheating spots. Replace the drum if either
of these are present.
Check the drum for scoring. Light scoring can be corrected with sandpaper.
Check the drum with a dial indicator for out-of-roundness; turn the drum
if it is beyond the specifications shown in the Brake Specifications Chart.
If the drum must be turned because of excessive scoring or out-of-roundness,
the drum's inside diameter should not exceed the specifications shown in the
chart.
NOTE: If one drum is turned, the opposite drum should also
be turned to the same size.
