- Make sure that the hood is properly aligned.
- Loosen the hood latch attaching bolts. Move the latch as necessary to align
with the latch dowel, then tighten the attaching bolts.
- Loosen the locknut on the hood latch dowel. Turn the dowel clockwise to
pull the hood tighter or counterclockwise to loosen it. The proper height
is when the top of the hood is flush with the fenders.
- Tighten the dowel locknut after the proper adjustment has been obtained.
