The hazard warning flasher, on the pickup, is located to the left of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured by a clamp and one screw. To remove it, simply unplug the electrical connector, loosen the screw, and slide the flasher out of the clamp. The turn signal flasher is located to the right of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured in the same way as the hazard flasher.
The turn the signal relay is located to the immediate right of the hazard flasher, and is secured by two screws. To remove it, unplug the electrical connector and remove the screws.
The relays and flashers are located under the dash, near the fusebox.
Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are mounted on the fuse panel on the truck. To gain access to the fuse panel, remove the cover from the lower edge of the instrument panel below the steering column. First remove the two fasteners from the lower edge of the cover. Then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel.
The turn signal flasher unit is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, and the hazard warning flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel.
