The control arm bushings are not serviced separately. If the bushings require
service, the front suspension upper control arm will have to be replaced.
- Remove the lower control arm.
- Secure the lower control arm in a bench vise protected with brass mounting
pads.

- Cut the rim section of the front lower arm bushing.
- Remove the front bushing from the control arm by using special bushing press
tools 49-G033-102, 49-F027-009 and a press.
- Using special press tools 49-U034-202, 49-G026-103 and a press, remove the
rear lower control arm bushing.
- Apply soapy water to the outside surface of the new front lower control
arm bushing.
- Using special tools 49-G033-102, 49-F027-009 and a press, install the new
front bushing into the lower control arm.

- Set a new rear control arm bushing into the lower control arm with the direction
marks on the bushing aligned with marks on the control arm.
- Using special tools 49-U034-202, 49-G026-103 and a press, install the new
rear bushing into the lower control arm.
