Fig. 3: Using a 12mm box wrench and a 12mm open end wrench
as a backup wrench, loosen then remove the sway bar link locking nut

wrench, remove the retaining nut

Fig. 5: After removing the sway bar link retaining nut,
remove the top bushing washer and rubber bushing
|
Fig. 6: The sway bar link may be corroded to the metal
sleeve. If this is so, secure the sleeve in a pair of locking pliers while
using a box wrench to loosen the corrosion bond between the two components
|
Fig. 7: Spray the sway bar link with a rust penetrating
lubricant to aid in the removal of the sway bar link from the sleeve
|
