Use hypoid gear lubricant API Service GL-5 SAE 80W or 90W. On Navajo models with four wheel drive, the front axle requires 75W gear lubricant.
NOTE: If the differential is a Traction-Lok limited-slip unit, be sure to use 4 oz. of Friction Modifier, or equivalent special limited-slip additive with the lubricant.
